360 Academy sessions Tameside tuesdays

18:00-20:00 Tuesday night Tameside Track

Ages 8-12 year old

Aimed at children looking to race circuit, road and time trials in 2024.

We are happy to take children that have race experience if under 8 and we are also happy to take riders upto 13 years old assuming we have room.

Sessions will change a little each week but the basic format will be around helping children improve fitness levels, pack riding, small group riding, cornering, gear use, strength and above all "having fun".

Each session will start with an inclusive chaingang before splitting into groups based on ability and age.

Children are expected to be on road bikes and wearing appropriate clothing

Parents or guardians are expected to stay on-site during the sessions and we would actively encourage observations.

The session will be run outside of British Cycling regulation but we will be using British Cycling approved coaches alongside experienced junior riders and performance coaches.

We will not be checking for gear restrictions but would advise that your child runs the setup that they will be racing on in 2024

The overall aim is to provide experience and act as a pathway for further development as they grow and move forward in the sport.
